Both hands in tiger claw form — simultaneously grabbing, ripping, controlling, or striking in close combat.

What Is Seong Fu Zhao?

Seong Fu ZhaoDouble Tiger Claws — uses both hands in the tiger claw shape to grab, rip, control, or strike vital targets. Found in Hung Gar, Choy Li Fut, and Southern Shaolin.

How to Form the Tiger Claw

  1. Extend all fingers fully.
  2. Curl them slightly to form a hook or claw shape.
  3. Tense the fingers and palm — the hand is live, not limp.
  4. Keep the thumb active and slightly opposed to the fingers.
  5. Maintain wrist alignment with the forearm for structural power.
